Zelenskyy commented on Russia’s hostile combined strike on Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the massive air attack by the Russians on Ukraine. He noted that there are casualties as a result of the strike, and at least 7 regions have been affected.

The statement was published on Zelenskyy’s Telegram channel.

«A difficult night for all of Ukraine: 250 strike drones, the vast majority of which are Iranian "Shahids," 14 ballistic missiles. Odesa region, Vinnytsia region, Sumy region, Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region were affected. Everywhere – against civilians. There are casualties. My condolences to the families and loved ones», – wrote the head of state.

Zelenskyy added that Russia ignored Ukraine’s and allies’ repeated calls to cease fire. In this connection, he urged partners to increase pressure on the Kremlin.

«It is obvious that we need to pressure Russia much more significantly to achieve results and begin genuine diplomacy. We are expecting sanctions measures from the US, Europe, and all our partners. Only additional sanctions against key sectors of the Russian economy will force Moscow to cease fire», – concluded the president.
