Shelling in the Sumy region caused fires in several settlements

On May 31, Russian missiles and drones launched massive strikes on various areas of the Sumy region. After the hits, rescue workers were on the scene.

Consequences of the shelling:

• In the Druzhbivska community, the damaged House of Culture caught fire.

• In the Romenska community, a massive fire broke out at a livestock farm.

• In the Trostianets community, non-residential buildings and agricultural enterprise premises were on fire.

• In the Dubovyazivska community, a fire broke out in a non-residential building.

Rescue workers continue operations in one of the border settlements, but due to the complex security situation, works are periodically suspended.

In the region, an evacuation from 11 new settlements has been announced.
