"The Birds of Madyar" showed how they destroyed a flock of Russian Lancet strike UAVs

As of June 2, soldiers of the "Topota Team" unit from the 414th brigade of unmanned systems "Birds of Madyar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine intercepted 133 enemy UAVs, including "Lancet" loitering munitions, using drones in the Kursk region of Russia.

This was reported by the brigade commander Robert Brovdi (call sign "Madyar") on Facebook.

In the video, you can see 28 different "Lancets" that were hit by Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones. These drones explode with the camera during the attack, making it impossible to directly observe the destruction or damage of the enemy device, but in each case, the interceptors approached close enough to cause damage with the remote detonation.

Apart from "Lancets," the unit also destroyed dozens of other Russian devices, including reconnaissance drones, air relays, bombers, and "kamikazes." Their successful operation weakened the offensive capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces and prevented the destruction of Ukrainian equipment.

The "Lancet-3" UAV (the largest modification) has a length of 1.65 meters and weighs about 12 kg, 3 kg of which is a high-explosive projectile designed to pierce armor. This amount of explosive is sufficient to disable almost any military equipment with an accurate hit.

The drone is equipped with two X-shaped wings with a 1-meter wingspan at the front and rear of the fuselage. Thanks to this design, it can fly quickly, maneuver well, and is easily recognizable.

"Lancets" are produced by ZALA Aero Group, a subsidiary of the Kalashnikov concern. They often work with "Orlan" Zala and SuperCam reconnaissance drones, which locate targets and correct attacks. The operator of the "Lancet" must see the target through the device’s camera, highlight it, and give the command to attack. The drone then uses a guidance system and dives at the selected object at speeds up to 300 km/h.
