On June 4, Russian forces launched a missile strike on one of the training units in the territory of the Poltava region.

This was reported by the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the attack, there are injured persons. A special commission has been created to determine the circumstances of the incident and assess the damages. The results of the investigation will be made public after the completion of its work.

The Ground Forces noted that thanks to the preemptive safety measures implemented to protect personnel in the rear areas under the constant threat of strikes from the Russian Federation, more serious consequences were prevented.
