In the Zaporizhzhya region, Russians shelled an energy brigade during repair work

On Sunday, June 22, in the Zaporizhzhya region, Russian occupiers shelled a brigade of energy workers as they were performing emergency restoration work.

This was reported by the press service of "Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo".

"Today, during emergency restoration work, the ’Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo’ brigade came under fire from Russian occupation forces. Fortunately, the energy workers were not harmed, but the aerial work platform was damaged," the message states.

It was noted that the brigade was working in an area close to the line of contact, repairing damage to the power grid caused by enemy attacks.

Due to the Russian strike, the repair work was not completed.

The company also reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, due to Russian military aggression, two company employees have been killed and another 13 injured in the Zaporizhzhya region while performing their duties.
