Russia planned to kill Andriy Yermak’s brother — SSU

Russia prepared an assassination attempt on Denys Yermak, the brother of the head of the President’s Office, said the head of the SSU, Vasyl Maliuk.

According to him, Denys Yermak is currently serving as a sniper in the Foreign Legion of the DIU and is involved with drones. The investigation found that Russian special services recruited a Kharkiv engineer to organize an explosion when Yermak returned from the front.

“The terrorist attack was planned to be carried out by 3:00 PM on May 15. On this day, an important meeting was held in Istanbul with the participation of Andriy Yermak, and the enemy wanted to influence the negotiation process,” Maliuk explained.

Recall that in 2020, Denys Yermak found himself at the center of a scandal following the publication of tapes in which a voice, resembling his, allegedly discusses the sale of positions. He denied these accusations.
