Commander of the Cherkasy unit offered a "disability deferment" for $13,000

The commander of the vehicle company of the fuel supply battalion from one of the Cherkasy military units suggested to an acquaintance to help with arranging a deferment from mobilization for her husband.

He explained that doing this for free is difficult due to increased attention from law enforcement, but hinted that he had connections at the Medical-Social Expert Commission and could "arrange" for a second group disability. For his "help," he asked for $13,000.

The woman reported this to the Security Service of Ukraine and continued to act under the control of the special service — this is how the commander was apprehended.
