In the Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked a battery manufacturing enterprise
On the night of July 3, the Lipetsk region of Russia was subjected to an aerial attack using drones, announced the region’s governor, Igor Artamonov. According to Ukrainian and Russian telegram channels, the target of the strike was the Public Joint Stock Company "Energia" – a leading Russian producer of chemical power sources, including batteries.
The head of the Russian region emphasizes the damage to civilian infrastructure. According to Artamonov, debris from one of the drones fell on a private residential house in the Lipetsk district. A local resident was killed, and two people were injured. In the city of Yelets, a drone fell in the parking lot of one of the enterprises. A fire broke out and was localized. Employees of the nearest workshops were evacuated, and no one was injured.
Igor Artamonov did not specify which enterprise he was referring to. The Ukrainian telegram channel Exilenova+ reported that the drones attacked PJSC "Energia." The fact that this enterprise was attacked was also reported by local residents, writes the telegram channel.
According to data from the Russian Ministry of Defence, throughout the night, Russian air defence systems shot down 69 Ukrainian drones, including 10 over the territory of the Lipetsk region.

According to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, batteries are manufactured there for glider and missile guidance blocks; for the Iskander complex, as well as cruise missiles.
