Israel announced new aid for Ukraine following a massive shelling
Israel has announced the provision of a new humanitarian aid package to Ukraine, which includes systems for supplying drinking water to the eastern regions affected by Russian shelling.
This was reported by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social network X.
According to the ministry, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, during a meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador Yevhen Korniychuk, instructed the MASHAV agency to prepare and deliver the necessary equipment. Each of these systems will be able to provide clean water to tens of thousands of people.
The aid will be financed from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs budget. The statement emphasizes that the systems will be deployed precisely in the eastern regions of Ukraine, where the water supply infrastructure has sustained significant damage.
Israel has been providing humanitarian support to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale conflict: since 2022, air and ground "bridges" have been organized for the delivery of food, medicine, generators, and a field hospital has been opened.
