Russian invaders managed to "reach" Kryvyi Rih with GABs; on the morning of July 4, they hit the city with this type of weaponry. An enemy fighter was able to get too close to the Defence Forces’ positions to launch.

This was reported by the Telegram channel "Mykolaivskyi Vanyok". It was noted there that the reason for this is the shortage of missiles and air defence systems.

"(The invader. – Ed.) approached very closely for this launch. Previously, a year or a year and a half ago, the invader would have been sent to the other world very quickly, but now even with all the means, it’s not so simple," the message reads.

"Mykolaivskyi Vanyok" added that earlier the aircraft would have been shot down, but now there is a shortage of missiles and Patriot systems, complicating the task. Russian occupiers did not get too close before because they feared the air defence system.

"The fact that we have a mess with the Acting Air Defence Officer, everyone has known for a long time and pretends that everything is fine and suits everyone – there is no point in writing about it since it’s pointless," the message states.

The Air Command "East" emphasized that the target in the airspace was detected around 11:25, and its type will be determined after studying the debris.

"We inform about the air attack means hitting the city of Kryvyi Rih. Around 11:25, an air target was detected in the airspace of temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region, launched from a tactical aviation aircraft of the enemy, probably Su-34. The target flew over 100 km and struck the Kryvyi Rih area at 11:38. The type of air target will be determined after examining the debris at the crash site," the message reads.
