In Lviv, a 17-year-old boy drowned in a lake

On Monday, July 7, a minor boy drowned in a lake on Volodymyr Velykyi Street in Lviv. The Department of Civil Protection of LRSA noted that the accident occurred near the restaurant complex "Hutsulska Grazhda."

As stated in the announcement by the Lviv rescue service, on July 7, around 15:50, they received information that a 17-year-old boy had drowned in the lake on Volodymyr Velykyi Street in Lviv. Rescuers surveyed the body of water using a boat and around 19:30 retrieved the body of the deceased teenager to the shore.

It is known that the deceased was a resident of the village of Bortnyky (Khodorivska TG, Stryi District). The causes and circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated by the police.
