The Russian Federation struck Cherkasy region: a hit on the TRC is reported

Russian occupation forces attacked the Cherkasy region with strike drones on the morning of Thursday, July 17. The enemy hit an infrastructure facility in the Kaniv community, and there is an injured person.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, in Telegram. Local residents note that the aggressor state’s troops attacked the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRC and SSC).

"In the morning, the enemy struck the Kaniv community by directing UAVs there. There is a hit on an infrastructure facility. All necessary services are working," wrote the head of the RMA.

Later, Taburets reported that one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the Russian attack.

In the Kaniv community, the consequences of the morning attack are being addressed. An operational headquarters is working. Fortunately, there were no fatalities. According to medics, one person was injured: "minor". Thank you to everyone who responded to the air raid alert and took shelter! This helped avoid casualties from Russian terror," added the head of the administration.
