Detained soldier and deputy head of the TRC due to fatal beating of mobilized individual in Kyiv

In the case of the brutal beating of a conscript in Kyiv, two people have been detained — the soldier himself and the deputy head of the Podil district military enlistment office, who was a witness but did not prevent the crime.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.

The incident occurred on the road from the training center, where the man was not accepted due to health issues and alcoholism. The victim died from the injuries sustained.

Both suspects face up to 10 and 12 years of imprisonment. Currently, they are in custody.
