The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive attack on Odesa: the famous Pryvoz market was on fire

Russia, the aggressor, attacked Odesa with drones on the night of July 24. As a result of the enemy shelling, a large fire broke out at the Pryvoz market, and other civilian infrastructure was damaged.

This was stated by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Kiper. The State Emergency Service demonstrated footage of the destruction and firefighting efforts.

"The enemy carried out a massive strike on Odesa using strike drones. Despite the active work of air defense, there is destruction of civilian infrastructure. In the city, there are several fires," the official noted around 3 AM.

At that moment, it was known about the burning of two floors in a residential multi-story building, the roof of a two-story house, shopping pavilions, and a gas station.

In addition, architectural landmarks in the historic center of Odesa, which is under UNESCO protection, sustained damage.

"Information about the affected is still being clarified. All relevant services have begun the aftermath liquidation of the Russian attack," added Kiper.

The city’s mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, shared photographs from the famous Prymorskyi Boulevard after the enemy attack.
