Zelenskyy: Ukraine has reached an agreement on the return of 1200 warriors from captivity

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening video address in Telegram.

"The Ukrainian team reported on the results of the return from Turkey during the negotiations. I sincerely thank the guys for their work. Regarding further exchanges, I very much hope that we will be able to return more of our soldiers from captivity. There is an agreement to return 1,200 soldiers. We also remember the civilians. We do not forget about everyone who needs to be brought home to Ukraine," Zelenskyy stated.

The President also thanked everyone who assists the Ukrainian delegation in negotiations concerning the return of military and civilians from Russian captivity.

"I am grateful to everyone who helps us. Our representatives, who were in Turkey meeting with the Russians, once again proposed to the Russian side the implementation of a real ceasefire - immediately and completely. They also proposed a meeting of leaders to make decisions that will bring peace. Ukraine is ready to act as quickly and effectively as possible," Zelenskyy emphasized.
