The Defence Forces repelled a large-scale Russian assault near Siversk

Fighters of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 81st Airmobile Brigade, currently part of the 11th Corps, repelled a powerful assault by the Russian army in the direction of Siversk in the Donetsk region.

On the evening of July 26, the corps press service reported this in a comment to "Ukrainian Pravda".

"On July 25, from 12:50 to 15:00, the enemy carried out 27 assault attacks on the positions of the Defence Forces in the areas of Verkhniokamianske and Hryhorivka, involving over 150 invaders, 6 tanks, 3 APCs, 6 MT-LBs, a BEREM, 12 ATVs, 2 buggies, and 41 motorcycles. 80 invaders were killed, and 37 were wounded. The rest of the enemy forces continue to suffer losses during the battles on July 26," the report stated.

By the way, according to the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of July 27, the Russian army made two breakthrough attempts in the Hryhorivka area in the Siversk direction.
