Occupiers launched a missile strike on Kyiv: an apartment entrance destroyed, people trapped under the rubble

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, on Telegram.

According to him, the enemy treacherously struck the capital with missiles during a prolonged air raid warning.

"The consequences are in Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. Residential areas," Tkachenko reported.

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klychko, noted that medical teams were called to Sviatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, and teams are already on site.

Chilling footage from the site of this hostile attack was shown by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Overall, Russia massively attacked the Ukrainian capital with "shaheds" and missiles from the night; there is damage in four districts, one person dead, and dozens injured.

"Kyiv. Missile strike. Directly on a residential building. People are under the rubble. All services are on site. Russian terrorists," Zelenskyy commented on the footage.

As of 06:55 in Kyiv, one person died and 43 were injured (26 of them were hospitalized by medics, while others received outpatient assistance or were treated on site).

Among the injured are three police officers who were responding to a call. Two injured people were rescued from under the debris.

"One of the strikes hit a residential high-rise: the entire entrance was destroyed. I am at the search and rescue operation site. SES and police forces are involved. Rescuers are clearing the debris, climbers, and engineering equipment are at work. Police are securing the perimeter and assisting in rescue operations. Documenting groups are already on site. We are collecting evidence of another war crime by Russia," noted the Minister of Internal Affairs.

"In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the shock wave blew out the windows in the children’s department of the medical facility. No casualties," he added.

Consequences by district:

• Sviatoshynskyi district - a residential building was damaged. Emergency services are on the way.
• Solomianskyi district - hit a residential building.
• Holosiivskyi district - a house and a car are on fire.
• Shevchenkivskyi district - windows in an apartment building were damaged, cars burned.
