General Staff: Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, RF

Ukrainian defence forces successfully struck an oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, as well as other verified targets involved in supporting armed aggression against Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the General Staff confirmed the strike on the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory. Its annual processing capacity is 6.25 million tons per year, which corresponds to 2.1% of the total oil refining volume in the Russian Federation. Due to drone strikes, a fire engulfed a technological unit for processing gas and gas condensate.

It was noted that the combat mission was carried out by units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Additionally, units of the Defence Forces conducted attacks on several other important targets, with the results of the combat operations still being clarified.

"Strikes on the enemy’s military infrastructure will continue until the complete cessation of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The Defence Forces systematically employ all legally permitted means to stop the criminal actions of the Kremlin regime aimed at destroying the Ukrainian people," the General Staff added.
