Drones attacked the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant in Russia: a fire broke out
In the Nizhniy Novgorod region of Russia, on the night of August 11, the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant was attacked by drones. After a series of explosions, a fire broke out there, and buildings on the territory were damaged.
This was reported by Russian public channels. They published a series of footage confirming the attack, including moments of strikes on the enterprise, which produces instruments for the aviation and space industries of the aggressor country.
Specifically, Russian Telegram channels reported three "claps" in the sky over the city of Arzamas around 03:55 local time. They also noted one powerful explosion.
Eyewitnesses among local residents counted at least five drones in total and noted that they were flying "at a very low altitude."
On the internet, Russians also shared footage of the aftermath of the attack. The videos show that after the strikes on the APZ, a fire broke out, and later a thick column of smoke rose over the area.
As a result of the attack, buildings on the enterprise’s territory were damaged: windows were shattered, and facades were harmed.





According to open sources, the joint-stock company "Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant named after P. I. Plandin" (JSC "APZ") is an enterprise that manufactures instruments for the aviation and space industries of Russia, as well as civilian products.

The plant develops and produces gyroscopic instruments, control systems, onboard electronic computing machines, steering drives, testing and control complexes, flow measurement equipment, and medical technology.
