US President Donald Trump stated that if he were not president, the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin would have seized the entire territory of Ukraine.

Trump noted that Putin and Zelenskyy "will make peace."

He is also convinced that the Russian dictator will not "play games with him."

"I think that if I weren’t president, he would have taken all of Ukraine; this is a war that should never have happened. If I weren’t president, in my opinion, he would have taken all of Ukraine much faster, but I am president, and he won’t mess around with me," – Trump stated.

The US President added that if a meeting between him and the Russian leader is unsuccessful, "it will end very quickly."

"If it’s a successful meeting, we will have peace in the near future," – Trump added.
