The Head of the European Commission will join the talks between Zelenskyy and Trump at the White House

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will fly to the USA. They will meet with American leader Donald Trump.

This was announced by Ursula von der Leyen on X (Twitter).

The official stated that today, August 17, she will welcome Zelenskyy in Brussels. Together, they will participate in a meeting of the "coalition of the determined."

The President of the European Commission announced that, together with Zelenskyy and European leaders, she will meet with Trump on August 18.

"At the request of President Zelenskyy, I will join the meeting with President Trump and other European leaders at the White House tomorrow," she noted.
