The head of the Obukhiv police, Maksym Dyomin, hides income and uses expensive cars
The head of the Obukhiv District Police Department, Maksym Dyomin, conceals his property and declares expensive cars.
The Dyomin family resides in a 56 sq. m apartment in Obukhiv, which is declared as a rental property. However, expenses related to its rent are absent from the declarations. Moreover, no income that could cover such expenses is indicated.
The officer uses a Toyota Camry (2018), which is formally owned by his father. The value of such a car on the secondary market is estimated at least at 800,000 UAH.
Maksym Dyomin’s wife, Maryana Dyomina (Samoilenko), holds the position of an investigator in the National Police. In 2023, Maryana Dyomina purchased a Mazda 6 (2015) for 300,000 UAH.
In 2024, she acquired a BMW X3 (2014) for 500,000 UAH. Both amounts are significantly lower than the market prices of these cars, raising questions about the sources of funding and the accuracy of the declared amounts.
In Dyomina’s declaration, an income of 450,000 UAH from the sale of movable property is recorded, with the origin of this property not specified. It is worth noting that in the previous declaration, she reported only one vehicle — the same Mazda 6, which is still in her ownership, casting doubts on the legitimacy of the origin of this amount.
The annual salary of Maksym Dyomin amounted to 650,000 UAH, while his wife’s salary was 441,000 UAH. The family declared significant cash savings: 850,000 UAH for Maksym Dyomin and 220,000 UAH for Maryana Dyomina.
