Massive shelling of Kyiv: 15 dead, including four children, 45 injured

All the people who were in the basement of the building survived. 

As a result of the massive combined attack by Russian occupation forces on Kyiv in the early hours of Thursday, August 28, the death toll rose to 15 people, including four children, noted the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko. 

Another 45 Kyiv residents were injured, including ten children. In the Darnytskyi district, missiles hit a five-story building and destroyed part of it. A rescue and search operation is underway at the site of the strike. A resident of the building commented that 20 people were in the basement of this building during the missile strike — they all survived.  Damage was also recorded in the Obolonskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomyanskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Desnyanskyi districts of the city.
