Russian soldier shot a civilian in Donetsk region - prosecutor’s office

A Russian soldier shot a civilian resident of the village of Novoekonomichne near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The identity of the deceased is currently being established.

This was reported on Telegram by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the prosecutor’s office, a video documenting the Russian war crime appeared on one of the Telegram channels. Law enforcement officers found that the incident occurred on August 28 in Novoekonomichne.

"A serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hid behind the garage of a private house. Seeing a man in the yard, he took aim and killed the civilian with automatic weapons," noted the prosecutor’s office.

Investigators are currently establishing the identity of the deceased and the identity of the Russian who shot him.
