The situation on the front: 63 combat engagements, the greatest enemy pressure on the Pokrovsk direction

According to the General Staff, Russians once again shelled a number of settlements in the Ukrainian border area from their territory, including Khrinivka in Chernihiv Oblast, and Stara Huta, Starykove, Shalyhyne, Malushyne, Bunyakine, and Zarichne in Sumy region.

Enemy aviation struck in the area of Khliborob.

On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the Defence Forces repelled seven Russian attacks, with one more engagement ongoing. The Russian army used four guided aerial bombs in these frontline sectors and conducted 94 artillery strikes, including two with multiple launch rocket systems.

«At the same time, Ukrainian units carried out active operations and achieved success in certain areas,» the General Staff reports.

On the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attacks in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

On the Kupyansk direction, Russians conducted assault operations six times in the areas of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked eight times towards Karpivka, Shandryholove, Yampil, Dronivka, and Serebrianka. Three engagements are ongoing.

On the Siversk direction, the Defence Forces repelled two Russian attacks, with two more battles still ongoing. The invaders attempted to advance near Hryhorivka and towards Serebryanka.

On the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian army made three unsuccessful attempts to breach the defense in the direction of Mykolaivka and Stupochky.

On the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy offensive actions in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Rusyn Yar.

On the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russians have made 25 attempts to push the Defence Forces from their positions in the areas of Zapovidne, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Zvirove, Udachne, and Dachne, as well as towards Promin, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, and Pokrovsk. Defenders are holding back the pressure: 22 enemy attacks have already been stopped.

On the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces attacked seven times in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Piddubne, and Shevchenko, towards Filiia and Komyshuvakha. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

On the Hulyaipole direction, the invaders have not conducted any offensive actions today. However, they struck from the air in the area of Bilohiria.

On the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army made an unsuccessful attempt to advance towards Plavni.

On the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out three attacks, all of which were unsuccessful.

On other frontline directions, the situation has not changed significantly.
