In Kherson, an FSB agent who assisted the occupiers was detained

The SSU uncovered an FSB agent group that was directing enemy fire at the defenders of Kherson.

The Security Service of Ukraine uncovered another FSB agent group that was directing Russian artillery and drone strikes at the Defence Forces on the right bank of the Kherson region.

As a result of comprehensive measures in the regional center, a member of the enemy cell was detained. It turned out to be a 65-year-old local who was awaiting the full occupation of the region.

It was established that the agent’s main task was to locate warehouses with weapons, ammunition, and equipment of Ukrainian troops.

SSU investigators informed him of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody without the right to bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
