Russia has resumed its offensive on Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region - OSG "Dnipro"

Yesterday, on September 18, Russian troops resumed offensive operations towards the settlement of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by OSG “Dnipro”.

"On the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked in Vovchansk and resumed offensive actions towards Lyptsi," the military statement said.

Also, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy continues attempts to establish a foothold in the Kupyansk area. Defence forces are holding back the enemy.

As a reminder, according to the General Staff’s morning report, in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units 15 times near the settlements of Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Odradne, and in the direction of Bolohivka.

The village of Lyptsi, located in the Kharkiv region on the border with Russia, has become an important strategic object during Russia’s war against Ukraine. Throughout 2022-2024, Lyptsi has repeatedly changed hands, experiencing periods of occupation and liberation by Ukrainian forces.
