The situation at the front: The enemy does not cease attempts to advance further into the territory of Ukraine
The Defence Forces of Ukraine are holding back the advance of Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the day, as of this time, there have been 79 combat clashes on the front line.
This was reported by the General Staff’s press center.
Strikes on Ukrainian Territory
As noted, today communities in the settlements of Bila Bereza, Studenok, Cherkaska, Hirky, Prohres, Novovasylivka in Sumy region; Karpovychi, Bleshniya, Bohdanove in Chernihiv region were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
Situation in the North
According to the General Staff, there were four enemy attacks today in the Northeastern and Kursk directions. The invaders’ aviation launched four strikes, dropping five guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy conducted 115 artillery shellings on our troops’ positions and settlements, one of which was from multiple rocket launch systems.
Situation in Kharkiv Region
In the Southern Slobozhansk direction, there were five combat clashes in the areas of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, and towards Bochkove. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian units’ positions once towards Myrne. The Defence Forces succeeded, advancing up to 200 meters in certain areas and inflicting losses on the enemy’s manpower.
Situation in the East
It is also noted that in the Lyman direction, the occupying army launched seven attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Hreikivka, Novomykhailivka, Shandryholove, and towards the settlement of Novoselivka. Four combat clashes are currently ongoing.
"In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked three times towards Dronivka since the beginning of the day. As a result of reconnaissance and search actions, our defenders gained tactical success, advancing up to 200 meters in some areas and annihilating enemy manpower," the report says.
According to the General Staff, in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out an unsuccessful attack near Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, our defenders advanced up to 300 meters in certain areas, inflicted losses on the enemy’s personnel, and repelled eight enemy attempts to penetrate our defences in the areas of Ivanopillya, Shcherbynivka, Pleshiivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, Sofiivka. Two clashes continue.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers have made 23 attempts to displace our warriors from their positions in the areas of Velyka Novoselka, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Kotlin, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and towards the settlements of Kozatske and Novopavlivka. The Defence Forces are holding back the pressure and have already repelled 17 attacks," the report states.
Situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders conducted successful reconnaissance-strike actions, resulting in an advancement of up to 3 kilometers and the destruction of a significant amount of enemy infantry and capturing prisoners. Since the beginning of the day, our defenders have stopped six enemy assaults in the areas of Filiya, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Novoivanivka, and towards the settlements of Berezove and Novovasylivske, with six more combat clashes ongoing.
In the Hulaipole direction, the enemy attacked Defence Forces positions three times in the area of Olhivske. One combat clash is ongoing. The aggressor launched an airstrike on the settlement of Bilohirya.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack towards Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovia direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the settlement of Kozatske, making two unsuccessful attempts to approach Ukrainian positions towards the Antonivskyi bridge.
