"As in Hogwarts": Ukrainian military mocked the tactics of Russians in the Lyman region

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defence Forces of Ukraine 21 times. The pressure continues. The situation is dynamic, as the Russians have accumulated a huge amount of manpower.

This was stated by Maksym Bilousov, head of the communication department of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade.

According to him, mechanized assaults have not been seen in the direction for a month. As soon as any equipment appears, it is immediately destroyed. That is why the enemy, if they use tanks, does so mainly from closed positions, like artillery.

Instead, they are using up infantry in attacks — assault troops move forward in groups of two or four, using anti-thermal cloaks. The only unclear point is that they use these cloaks during the day, when they are very visible from above.

«This is an unclear tactic. It’s either poor training of the soldiers, or they don’t understand how the anti-drone cloak works. They think it’s like an invisibility cloak in Hogwarts. You put it on and you can’t be seen. But if you’re not visible in a thermal imager, it doesn’t mean you’re not visible on a regular camera. Such a black rectangle moves back and forth. Of course, it gets spotted and destroyed immediately,» said Maksym Bilousov.
