Official hid wife’s Toyota Land Cruiser in declaration: prosecutor’s office initiated a case

In Dnipro, the head of KEU was notified of suspicion for false declaration of a car worth 3.3 million UAH, — prosecutor’s office.

The official deliberately did not include a 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser, owned by his wife, in the declaration. The car was formally transferred to a third party, but in fact, the official used it himself. Later, the car was sold for 950,000 UAH.

He faces a fine of up to 51,000 UAH, community service of 150–240 hours, or up to 2 years of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to hold positions.
