Massive attack by Russia: prolonged power outages expected in Chernihiv region

Russian occupiers carried out a massive attack on Ukraine’s energy facilities. Due to this, power outages in the Chernihiv region may be prolonged.

The company noted that power outages in the region have started precisely due to serious damage to energy infrastructure facilities.

"We are doing everything possible to restore electricity supply, but the situation is complicated. Be prepared for prolonged outages! Critical social infrastructure facilities will be reconnected first. Therefore, we ask those who get power back first to limit their consumption. And we ask everyone else to be patient," added "Chernihivoblenergo".

They also clarified that the enemy is using strikes on energy infrastructure to pressure civilians. Complaints, protests, and panic are expected from Ukrainians.

At the same time, residents of the Chernihiv region were asked not to approach energy facilities during Russian attacks.
