Zelenskyy: Ukraine will not make territorial concessions to Russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukraine will not concede any territorial compromises to Russia. Speaking to the press in Euroradi, he also responded to questions about whether Kyiv supports the proposal for a ceasefire.

He said that Ukraine is ready for this and is prepared for any format of negotiations. But these must be honest negotiations about a lasting peace. 

Ukraine is counting on Washington’s decision regarding long-range weaponry.

"Tomahawks, I think you heard from President Trump, are a very sensitive issue. But it’s like with sanctions before. Previously, it seemed impossible, but now we see energy sanctions that are very important," the president said.
