Massive night attack: Russia launched 81 air attack means on Ukraine, air defence neutralized 67 targets

On the night of November 2, Russia once again attacked Ukraine from the air: the enemy used 81 air attack means, including two ballistic missiles and about 50 "Shahed" drones. Air defence forces destroyed 67 targets.

Hits were recorded on several objects. Details were published by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy began the attack at approximately 19:00 on November 1.

In total, during the night, the Russians carried out an attack with two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region and 79 strike UAVs of the Shahed, "Gerbera," and other types of drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

In particular, the Russians used about 50 "Shahed" drones.

The repulsion of the air attack was provided by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense destroyed/suppressed 67 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, "Gerbera," and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.

Hits by one ballistic missile and 12 strike UAVs were recorded on 6 objects, as well as the fall of debris from downed targets on 2 objects.

"The attack continues, several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" – emphasized the Air Forces.
