The chief doctor of the Odesa regional oncology dispensary, Oleh Lukyanchuk, stated that due to funding disruptions, the facility has been left without medication.

According to him, the regional health department constantly postpones the purchase of chemotherapy drugs and other medications due to the lack of funds.

This year, there is no money due to problems with budget approval. And last year, funds were allocated only in December, which did not allow tenders to be held.

"In 2016, 0% was allocated for materials and equipment, 15% for food, and 7% for medicines," stated Lukyanchuk during a press conference at the oncology dispensary.
