In Israel, the media became interested in the scandal surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, which could have been illegally administered to Ukrainian officials from their country.

Among other Ukrainian media, the publication Ynet referred to statements by the chairman of the editorial board of Obozrevatel and the president of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Brodskyi.

"In Ukraine, they are studying reports that Pfizer vaccines were smuggled out of Israel and given to politicians for 3,000 euros. The reports claim that Roman Holdman, who calls himself a doctor in Israel, is responsible for the smuggling," the publication states.

In a comment for Ynet, Brodskyi said that Holdman offered wealthy people in Ukraine vaccination for big money. According to him, Pfizer vaccines were delivered from Israel to Ukraine by charter flight late last month.

"It seems the vaccine entered Ukraine without going through customs, as it was brought in through the airport’s official delegations hall—under the cover of a passport of some deputy who prevented customs inspection," Brodskyi noted.

Brodskyi also forwarded to Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth a letter he sent to investigators in Israel, asking them to find out how Holdman managed to obtain batches of vaccines in Israel and export them to Ukraine.

The Israeli publication notes that the State Bureau of Investigation in Ukraine has begun an investigation into this matter. Law enforcement officers are preparing a list of everyone who might have been vaccinated.

Let’s add that in Ukraine, Roman Holdman is the head of the Israeli Medical Centers Association MEDES and is connected with many businessmen and high-ranking politicians. Holdman has not yet responded to Ynet’s request.

Earlier, Mykhailo Brodskyi stated that some Ukrainian MPs and top officials secretly received COVID-19 vaccinations in Ukraine, paying 2,500-3,000 euros for two doses. He also published a photo of the vaccine, which could have been illegally administered to Ukrainian officials from Israel.

According to his information, on December 29 or 30, a batch of the Pfizer vaccine was secretly imported into Ukraine from Israel via a charter flight. In response, the spokesperson for Israeli Health Minister Yuli Edelstein assured that this would have been impossible since the drug requires deep freezing.
