From 2012 to 2020, the head of the Solomyanskyi district organization of "Ukrainian Choice" in Kyiv was Oleksandr Kachura — a current member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" faction.

This was reported by former MP Yurii Levchenko on his Facebook page.

He reminded that the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) announced that the "Ukrainian Choice" organization facilitated the Russian occupation and annexation of Crimea. In turn, the Office of the Prosecutor General stated that three leaders of initiative groups of "Ukrainian Choice" were notified of suspicion for participating in the organization and conduct of an illegal "referendum" in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

"First of all, it should be noted that responsibility for anti-state activities should primarily be borne by the founder and leader of ’Ukrainian Choice’ — Viktor Medvedchuk. It is obvious that he coordinated the activities of all these traitors, as reported by the SSU and the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Thus, Medvedchuk’s arrest should be a logical continuation of the investigation of this criminal case. However, despite all the PR, we still do not see this step from the ’servants’ authorities.

At the same time, this PR looks quite hypocritical, considering the fact that since 2012, the head of the Solomyanskyi district organization of ’Ukrainian Choice’ in Kyiv was Oleksandr Kachura — a current member of parliament from the ’Servant of the People’ faction, one of the leading speakers of the ruling party, and deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Power Organization, Local Self-Government, Regional Development, and Urban Planning.

Moreover, according to information published by the Ministry of Justice, Kachura headed the Solomyanskyi center of Medvedchuk’s organization as of 2020, that is, already being a member of parliament from the majority faction (document in the comments)," writes Levchenko.

And he raises the question: "Will the head of one of its branches bear at least some responsibility?"

In addition, Levchenko notes that "key functionaries of ’Ukrainian Choice,’ about whom there is much information in the media regarding their involvement in facilitating Russian aggression in Ukraine and their overall anti-Ukrainian activities, currently feel quite comfortable in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Moreover, some of them were elected as deputies of local councils of various levels from the OPFL during last year’s local elections."

"But there are no reports from the SSU about them, only about those who can no longer be physically punished," emphasizes the former MP.
