Entrepreneurs of one of the oldest marketplaces in Odesa – the Starokonnyi Market have long been in a state of uncertainty.

The raider who seized the Starokonnyi Shopping Center is trying by all possible means to maintain their influence on the market. This includes the refusal to return the shopping center to its owner, the corruption of law enforcement agencies, provocative actions, and pressure on entrepreneurs.

It was previously reported that the raiders led by Artem Shamray filed a complaint with the Anti-Raider Commission of the Ministry of Justice regarding the actions of the registrar related to the termination of the lease agreement in the register due to the expiration of the lease term between the owner of the Starokonnyi Shopping Center - OKS CAPITAL company, and the tenant Starokonnyi Market LLC.

The meeting where the raiders’ complaint was considered took place on August 3rd. However, the results of the meeting remain unknown. Is their absence from open access on the Ministry of Justice’s website a human factor or reason to doubt the integrity and transparency of the commission? According to available information, the Ministry of Justice sided with the raiders and satisfied their complaint.

Let us recall that on August 1st, representatives of the raider Novikov and Omelchuk openly declared at a gathering of Starokonnyi Market entrepreneurs that they had bribed the Anti-Raider Commission of the Ministry of Justice, and the decision to be made by the commission on August 3rd would definitely be in favor of Shamray and his accomplices.

The Anti-Raider Commission of the Ministry of Justice has repeatedly proven that working solely on the side of the law is an effective method of protection against raider seizures. One would hate to think that raider Artem Shamray has discredited the Ministry of Justice by dragging it into his mess?
