Officials of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration exposed on "carve-up" of UAH 15.2 million during procurement of humanitarian aid

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office exposed officials of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration for the theft of UAH 15.2 million during the purchase of humanitarian aid. Among the suspects is Victoriya Belyavtseva, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration’s staff.

The director of the private company and her deputy, as well as the director of the regional office of the said LLC, conspired with her. The NABU and the SAPO reported this on Telegram.

According to the investigation, the participants in the conspiracy entered into a tripartite agreement between the Kharkov RMA, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia and LLC for the supply of chicken for free distribution to the population in front-line regions and de-occupied territories.

After this, the participants in the conspiracy forged documents about allegedly receiving 235 tons of products, on the basis of which UZ subsequently transferred more than 15 million UAH to the private company. However, the paid products were not delivered.

Law enforcement officers did not name the official, but journalist Oleh Novikov noted in his Telegram channel about NABU and SAPO cases “NABU Daily by Oleh Novikov” that we are talking specifically about Belyavtseva.
