The SSU announced suspicion of Taisiya Povaliy: she called for the seizure of Ukraine
The SSU reported suspicion in absentia of Taisiya Povaliy. The singer called for the capture of all Ukraine.
The SSU reports this.
“The Security Service has collected evidence on the singer and former MP Taisiya Povaliy, who justifies Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine,” the statement says.
On the eve of a full-scale Russian invasion, she traveled to the aggressor country, where she received Russian citizenship and publicly supported the Kremlin.
“During an interview with a Moscow online publication, the collaborator praised Putin and called for the seizure of the entire territory of Ukraine. She also tried to discredit the Ukrainian defenders who participated in the battles for Kyiv,” the SSU added.
In addition, in September 2023, Povaliy, at the invitation of terrorist Pasechnyk, performed at a concert in temporarily occupied Luhansk.
Then, right from the stage, she spoke out in support of the Russian invaders and glorified their participation in the war against Ukraine.
An examination initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of the attacker’s subversive activities in favor of the aggressor country.
Based on the collected evidence, Security Service investigators informed Taisiya Povaliy in absentia of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
p. 6 Art. 111-1 (collaboration activities);
Art. 436 (public calls for aggressive war);
p. 1 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition of the legitimate armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine).
Since the suspect is on Russian territory, comprehensive measures are ongoing to bring her to justice for the crimes committed.
