The AFU assessed a possible new Russian offensive: "There is a certain regrouping going on"
The Russian Armed Forces will try to prevent Ukrainian forces from stabilizing their defence lines.
The Russian occupiers have not abandoned their offensive plans, but now there is a certain regrouping at the front. The head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ivan Tymochko, announced this on air at the marathon.
"Regarding the fact that the Russians are preparing for a new offensive, they have not finished offensive operations yet. Now a certain regrouping is taking place. Perhaps this is some kind of stop. It is not due to the fact that the Russians have changed their plans or intentions. It is connected more with technological issues, not technical - some kind of internal replenishment, regrouping, filling warehouses within the front line or rear, because the work carried out by our soldiers behind enemy lines is significant and no less important than destroying them directly along the front line. They will be preparing - it’s more important to talk about whether we will be ready in a month or two or three to prevent them from realizing their plans,” he said.
He also noted that the real state of affairs in Russia regarding any of their plans and a new offensive may depend on many internal Russian factors.
“This is an unwillingness to serve. We will see how the process of destroying oil refineries in Russia will take place - if it does not directly affect the front line, a decrease or increase in fighting, it will affect the budgetary component of Russia. There are many points here. It will be possible to assess the situation after that. how Putin will re-elect himself,” Tymochko added.
