DIU calls claims of shooting down Black Hawk helicopter fake

On the afternoon of 17 March, Russian propagandists and numerous Telegram channels began to massively disseminate reports of the alleged downing of a Black Hawk helicopter belonging to the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.  Representatives of the aggressor state claimed that it contained a “landing party” of “up to 20 people.”

The DIU called these statements a lie timed to coincide with Putin’s elections. The intelligence officers also advised “black-mouthed propagandists and their slave owners from the Kremlin” to stop drinking alcohol.

On the afternoon of March 17, Russian propagandists began spreading information about the downing of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter in the Sumy region. They associated this statement with the raid of Russian volunteers on the territory of the Russian Federation.

"Russian army soldiers shot down an American-made UH-60 Black Hawk enemy helicopter with troops on board. The enemy’s plane was destroyed in the Ukrainian Lukashivka area. There were up to 20 people on board the military transport helicopter. The enemy planned a landing in Russian Kozynki in order to create the appearance of control over a populated area,” said one of the z-propagandists, whose message was replicated by the propaganda media.

DIU representative Andriy Yusov reacted to the “victory” of the invaders and their heralds over the “American-made helicopter.”

“I can confirm that the statements of Russian propagandists are yet another lie in the framework of the so-called Putin elections. All Black Hawk aircraft are operational and continue to perform their assigned tasks,” he said.

And in the official Telegram channel of the DIU, they advised propagandists and their curators to stop drinking alcohol.

“All Black Hawk aircraft of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine are in excellent working condition; their crews continue to perform combat and special missions. Black-mouthed propagandists and their slave owners from the Kremlin, who spread fake news about the alleged downing of a Ukrainian military intelligence helicopter, should drink less alcohol.” , – noted in the message.
