The Ministry of Defence explained whether an electronic cabinet for persons liable for military service is mandatory

An electronic account will be created for each person liable for military service, but citizens will decide for themselves whether to use it or not.

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Kateriya Chernohorenko announced this during a national telethon on Thursday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Direct speech : “An office will be created for each person liable for military service; in fact, it will be a ready-made option for such work, but whether or not to use such an electronic office will be the business of every citizen.”

Details : The Deputy Minister noted that the electronic account will allow those liable for military service to provide their data in any location convenient for them or to see the data about themselves contained in the registry, without at the same time contacting the territorial recruitment and social support centers (TRC and SS) in person.

Chernogorenko added that the electronic register of those liable for military service contains only the data of citizens that are prescribed by law and can help reduce the number of errors in military registration. At the same time, anyone can submit the data they consider necessary through the electronic interface.

The Ministry of Defence plans to launch an electronic account for those liable for military service this summer.
