Poland called on the United States to unblock aid to Ukraine amid escalation in Israel

In Poland, against the backdrop of a massive Iranian air attack on Israel, they appealed to the US Congress to pass a bill providing support for Ukraine. Israel’s excellent performance in repelling Iranian drones and missiles with the help of its allies is an incentive to strengthen the country’s missile defense capabilities.

The Iranian attack should also encourage American congressmen to help Ukraine obtain similar protection from Russia’s brutal missile and drone attacks. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski is convinced of this; heappealed to Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson on the X network.

The head of Polish diplomacy is confident: the night attack by Iran and 99% of the air targets that the air defence of Israel and allies managed to shoot down is the best argument in favor of the importance of strengthening air defense over Ukraine.
