People’s Deputy Nikolayenko will be tried for a fatal accident in Zhytomyr region

A people’s deputy of Ukraine will be tried for violating traffic rules resulting in death. The case has been sent to court.

According to investigators, on November 3, 2023, at about 10:00 on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Berezivka, a car driven by a people’s deputy of Ukraine hit an 18-year-old girl who was crossing the road.

“The accused violated the Traffic Rules and exceeded the permitted maximum speed, causing a collision,” the report says.

Let us remind you that on November 3, 2023, in the Zhytomyr region, on the Kyiv-Chop highway, a people’s deputy hit and killed an 18-year-old girl. She died on the spot from her injuries.

As it turned out, the driver was MP from Batkivshchyna Andriy Nikolayenko. According to some media reports, he was in the car with his wife. Later, the deputy himself confirmed that he was involved in an accident in the Zhytomyr region, where an 18-year-old girl died.
