“Tonight, the Russians launched a new missile attack on energy infrastructure facilities. Energy system facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions were damaged. Due to the consequences, the Ukrenergo main air line in the western region was disabled by the protection action,” the message says.

Emergency restoration work is currently ongoing.

As noted in Ukrenergo, thanks to the combination of sunny weather and weekends, consumption today, April 27, as of 9.15, decreased by 23% compared to yesterday, April 26.

“Despite a noticeable decrease in consumption, there remains a shortage of electricity in the energy system today at certain times. We ask all consumers to consume electricity carefully. And industry should attract imported electricity as much as possible and use, if available, alternative power sources,” Ukrenergo emphasized.

During the day, consumption restrictions continue to apply in the Kharkiv region. Industrial consumption in Kryvyi Rih is also limited around the clock.

During almost the entire day, with the exception of night hours, electricity is imported from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Moldova. A total capacity of 6629 MW hour, with a maximum power in individual hours of up to 1640 MW. From December 1, the technical possibility of importing electricity from Europe to Ukraine and Moldova is 1,700 MW per hour.
