Where can Russians attack in summer besides Donbas

During the upcoming offensive, the armed forces of the Russian Federation will concentrate their attention on capturing the Donetsk region.

The publication, citing interlocutors in the Defence Forces, stated that the main goal of the Russian Armed Forces is the capture of the Donetsk region. However, the enemy’s methods of achieving the goal may differ.

In particular, the occupiers may attack in the same directions as they are doing today ("Kostyantynivka" - in the area of Chasiv Yar, "Pokrovske" - a dozen settlements near Avdiivka, "Kurakhove" from the side of Maryinka). The most fierce fighting may be in the direction of the Kramatorsk agglomeration or in the Kurakhove and Vuhledar directions.

The enemy may also become more active in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The goal of the occupiers may be to create a so-called “sanitary zone” near their border regions. The Russians also want to force the Ukrainian command to withdraw some troops in other more important areas.
