Ex-head of the State Forestry Agency caught on UAH 141 million bribe to be tried

The official received this amount with the assistance of his wife in 2011-2014. from a number of foreign companies in exchange for the extension of contracts for the supply of wood.

The funds were received in the form of payment allegedly for “marketing services”, after which they were “laundered” under the guise of legitimate transactions.
