The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Deputy Prime Minister Kubrakov

Parliament dismissed Oleksandr Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.

People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram .

“For” – 272 people’s deputies.

The official himself was not in the meeting room.

On May 9, a draft resolution on Kubrakov’s dismissal was registered in the Rada. Kubrakov himself stated that the head of government and the Servant of the People faction did not discuss the decision to resign with him.

People’s deputies from the Servant of the People at a faction meeting on May 8 decided to divide the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure into two separate departments and dismiss Kubrakov.

The Parliamentary Committee on the Organization of State Power proposed the creation of a Ministry of Infrastructure and a Ministry of Regional Policy. This was supported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who participated in the meeting of the SN faction.
