NABU and SAPO exposed the embezzlement of the State Reserve for more than 8 million hryvnia

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have exposed the embezzlement of funds of the State Enterprise Chortkivskyi Bread Products Plant of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine.

In October 2018, the director of the State Enterprise Chortkivskyi Bread Products Plant, with the complicity of the site manager and the head of the farm, organized the falsification of invoices for the supply of 2,400 tons of corn grain to the state-owned enterprise, the report says.

Based on this, the bakery paid UAH 8.3 million as part of the cost of the products. However, he never received a single ton of grain.

On May 9, 2024, the suspicion was reported to the former director of the State Enterprise "CBPP", the head of the state enterprise "CBPP" and the chairman of the farm.
