Official of Odesa-based DTEK leaked information on the results of shelling of critical infrastructure to the occupiers

A high-ranking official of DTEK Odesa Electric Grids JSC could transmit information to the Russians about the results of attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

This became known from the case materials collected by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine and announced during the meeting of the Prymorskyi District Court of Odessa on March 15, 2024.

SSU officers established that the head of DTEK’s project management department not only justified Russian aggression and disseminated enemy propaganda in telegram chats, but also leaked information to third parties about the results of attacks on electrical substations, the timing of their repairs, as well as the structures of the unified energy system of Ukraine. and the degree of its damage.

Based on the totality of the collected evidence, the suspect is charged with three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 1 of Art. 114 (Obstruction of the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), Part 2 of Art. 436-2 (Justification, recognition as lawful, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) and Part 1 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of equal rights of citizens of Ukraine).

Following the meeting, the investigator and judge granted the request of the SSU investigator and sent the native of Kharkiv under round-the-clock house arrest for two months.
